The cost of Membership from 2024 is just £26.30 per year.

...that’s only a fraction over 50p per week!

Furthermore, the subscription includes a member’s spouse or partner at no extra cost. Widows, Widowers, civil partners or other partners of deceased former or serving police officers are not required to pay the full subscription.

There are many benefits to being a member both at a national and local level – click on the tabs/links and find out for yourself. The Branch maintains a close liaison with the Suffolk Police Federation and as a result the Joint Branch Board now pays the first 12 months NARPO subscriptions for any newly retired federated officer, providing they were a subscribing member to the Police Federation Group Insurance Scheme at least one year prior to their retirement date.

If you are eligible then please take the necessary steps to join and enjoy the friendship and opportunities that lie ahead.  Please also think how you may be able to help, for example by serving on a committee, being active in the organisation of events or providing your expertise to assist (eg in finance).  For whatever reason some retired officers do not join us but regrettably some then find that when they need assistance and support it is not necessarily available from other sources.
